Commitment to our Stakeholders

Our operations are centered in Al Zour Complex which is located close to residential areas.

We work with them to understand their priorities and concerns. Managing our impact on people is essential to establishing our strategy as a responsible company.

Impact assessment

We involve our external stakeholders at every stage of our projects. The first stage involved carrying out an impact assessment with our third-party consultants to understand the potential effects on local communities, including people’s health and the environment. We have a dedicated taskforce who are experienced in engaging with external stakeholders.

Community Feedback

We firmly believe that respectful engagement with the Kuwaiti local community neighbouring our operations is critical to the success of KIPIC’s projects and long-term operations. It is important to us to have a hotline that residents of Kuwait and nearby community can use and for people to be able to contact us, give us feedback and receive a response or action from us.
We have implemented community feedback mechanisms at major operations and projects to receive, track and respond to questions and complaints from community members before they can escalate. The grievances system works around the clock to address the concerns or grievances people may have.
