Al Zour Medical Centre

The establishment of Al-Zour Medical Center has begun on March 21, 2020, based on the decision of the Ministry of Health to transform the abandoned contract labour accommodation of Integrated Petroleum in the southern Al-Zour region into a quarantine, as soon as possible.

Integrated Petroleum was keen to harness all its logistical, human and material resources to equip the Al-Zour health quarry, or what is now known as KIPIC Medical Center, in record time, as it witnessed an accelerated work movement to complete it within two weeks, and it was already handed over to the Ministry of Health on April 16, 2020, thus forming one of the pillars of facing the crisis. It is also designed to provide various permanent medical services in the future.

Integrated Petroleum has made tremendous efforts to support the efforts of the beloved State of Kuwait in facing the Corona pandemic. The founding journey was initially a quarantine to accommodate and treat suspected cases of Coronavirus – Covid 19 from citizen students returning from abroad, then the project turned into an integrated medical centre of KIPIC to provide services and medical care for all sick cases, whether during the Corona pandemic or in the future.

The total area of the medical centre is about 200 thousand square meters, which contains 750 chalets designated as a double health room, and 167 chalets single rooms are fully equipped and furnished with beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, television, internet services and exchange.
